Sevenoaks Embroiderers Guild


The Embroiderers Guild of Great Britain was established in 1906, has its Headquarters at Hampton Court Palace, and is the largest Craft Charity in the country. There are branches all over the country and the local Sevenoaks Branch was established in 2001.	Click to enlarge
Meetings are held on the last Saturday of the month at Otford Village Memorial Hall (no meetings in August or December). The morning session begins at 10am and usually members bring along their own projects to work on. On occasions workshops are also held. The afternoon session begins at 2pm when the programme normally features a speaker or demonstrator. The meetings are open to anyone with an interest in Textiles and all skill levels are welcome.
